The room was very dirty, with yellow pillows, hair in the shower, and an unclean bathroom. Staff seemed disorganized, and we waited 35 minutes to check in because the woman at the desk couldn’t, or perhaps just wouldn’t, get it done.

The room was dusty when I arrived. The sink leaked, the previous guest’s trash was still there, and the cabinet door was broken. I called staff to fix it, and one came in wearing sneakers. When he opened the cabinet, dust flew everywhere. He swept it with his hand and sent more dust onto the bed and my face. There wasn’t a toothbrush, and the nearby 7-Eleven was closed, which was inconvenient. Paying rm100 for this was frustrating. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

We arrived from kedah at 3am after a long drive with our small baby, hoping to rest, but ended up changing rooms three times in the middle of the night. CRYSTAL GARDEN HOTEL TASIK SELATAN was smelly, dirty, and full of cockroaches, hair, and mold. We felt upset and unsafe, and couldn’t get a proper rest. I already tried writing this on booking.com, but the review didn’t appear, so I’m posting it again here to warn anyone thinking of booking this horrible place. Never again for me.

There were no windows in the room, and I was charged a 50 deposit for a room that had just two towels and two small bottles of water. I arrived at 5am and was given a dirty room with a cockroach on the ceiling and a strong mold smell. They moved me to another room, but it had the same smell, just no cockroach. I was exhausted and fell asleep, then woke up to find the power had been cut to make me come down and pay for another day. They wouldn’t even turn it back on so I could get dressed. The guy at reception was rude. There are plenty of bad hotels, but at least be honest with your ratings. This one is definitely not a good hotel.
