There are plenty of utensils and the studio has lots of space, but cleanliness was a problem. Cockroaches were all over the place. Management should put repellents around the rooms to help prevent this.

We paid a premium to stay in Room 908 at Dua Sentral Kuala Lumpur By Roam apartments from 20 to 23 March 2026, and my family and I regretted it right away. There was no cleaning service during our stay and no towel changes. The water heater didn’t work at all, the toilet and shower head were broken, and the air-conditioning took over 3 hours to cool the room while barely functioning. There was also a strong, unpleasant smell throughout. After a miserable first night, I went down to the “Five Senses” office in the lobby to report the problems. They said the room would be fixed that day, but nothing was done and nobody followed up or tried to repair anything. It was nearly impossible to get immediate help because, unlike most Agoda bookings, the property only gave an email address and no phone number. I raised it with Agoda, but they said it would take 72 hours, longer than our stay. For a place charging premium prices, the poor maintenance and lack of respect for customers were shocking. Whoever owns or manages the unit needs to rethink what hospitality means. I’ve stayed in KL many times at Opus, EST, and BTS and never had such a badly managed, useless apartment. This was by far the worst, and I’ll never recommend Dua Sentral. Think twice before booking it.
My family loved this lovely, very affordable place. It’s in Brickfields, with easy access to KL Sentral and Nu Sentral. We’ll definitely stay here on our next trip in KL. Very high recommend.
We spent a month in May in one of Francis’s serviced apartments, then came back for a week in September. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve had in Southeast asia, the rooms were super clean and thoroughly treated for bugs, and the internet was lightning fast and very reliable. Free Netflix was included. On the 20th floor there’s a service room with washing machines, clean towels, toilet paper, free noodles, and the other little things you need for a good stay. Francis is well mannered and does his best to provide professional service. If you want to stay in Brickfields, book through Airbnb with this superhost. It’s a gem, with a good location and a good price for KL. We’re very satisfied customers and have no affiliation with him. We’d read awful experiences from guests dealing with other hosts in this building, so make sure you stay with him.
If waking up with cockroaches on your face sounds good, this is the place.
