East Riverine Boutique Hotel

It was a pleasant stay, and the room was spacious with lots of places to hang towels. The charging port, dressing table, and the way the bed and locker were arranged all worked perfectly. Smart interior design, A++ 🥹🥹❤️ The comforter was one of the best quality ones I’ve had, really warm underneath. They also have strict rules about looking after the towels, especially avoiding stains. The back road is always full of food stalls, so it can be a bit hard for Grab to find the place. The Indian receptionist was very kind and got us checked in in less than 5 minutes when we were tired. Tip-top quality, thanks! I’d definitely book here again if I get the chance.

The location is impeccable: less than 10 mins on foot to chow kit MRT, 7-11 right next door, and Mydin on the next block for chocolates and local coffee. For the price, the room was spacious, with plenty of power outlets, including one type C (euro) near the bed. They provide 2 bottled water every day, and there’s a dispenser by the lift. From outside, the small reception area didn’t look convincing, but after taking the lift there was a spacious hallway and a well-lit void. The room’s green doors gave it a nice ambience. Service was 4 thumbs up. They let me leave my luggage and even searched CCTV recordings to look for my “missing” debit card. I later found it in my dirty laundry bag, sorry 😔. Thanks for a good 2 night stay!

The location is strategic and good, and the cloth smelled really nice. Those were about the only good things about the stay. The hotel made me sick. Please do pest control, I’m sure this is the best hotel in that area. I’d asked through Agoda Message for a front side view of the monorail, but when I arrived I was given Room 202 facing the back. On the first day, I found a used tissue and a mini cockroach in the toilet, and another cockroach got into my air bungkus. On the second day, I requested a change to a front-view room and got Room 217. That room also had mini cockroaches in and outside the toilet, plus I saw a white and on the table. I’m not sure why the hotel is like this. Has pest control been done or not?

The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice feel to it. We ran into a double booking because of an issue with Agoda’s app, and Mr. Ahmad, the hotel manager, helped us sort it out according to the hotel’s policy. I really appreciate his help and all the staff’s hospitality. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m back in KL.
