Koptown Edc Hotel Kuala Lumpur

The price was very affordable, and I found the location convenient, with the subway nearby and the center within walking distance. There were lots of shops, malls, and restaurants around, with affordable prices. I stayed in Kuala Lumpur for a week about six months ago, and the hotel was wonderful. My room was clean, cozy, had a beautiful view from the window, and was cleaned regularly. They also met me at reception even though I arrived late at night. If I come back to Kuala Lumpur, I’ll choose this hotel again. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Our room was fine, though there wasn't much around the hotel. We had to go to level 2 and then take another lift to level 5 to reach it. That's when we found out the building connects to another building. Breakfast wasn't part of our booking, so we paid separately, RM15 per person.

The price was okay, and they offer a breakfast package. There are a few places to eat within the hotel if you don't feel like going out or ordering. You can leave deliveries in the lobby, though I'm not sure if anyone will bring them up to your room. The room needs some attention. The toilet floor and sink had lots of stains, the water pressure was low, and the fridge felt like it was ready to retire. Service was a bit slow too: I asked for room service in the morning, but it still hadn't come by afternoon, even after I went to the lobby and housekeeping office. The Wi-Fi was unstable at times, so I had to use mobile data. Also, parking isn't free for hotel guests.

The rooms were tiny and uncomfortable. One was right by the road, and I couldn't sleep all night because of the heavy traffic and wheeling on the road. It felt like we were staying right beside the street, with no soundproofing at all. The food was awful too. Dinner on arrival was nearly inedible, with terrible roti and tasteless rice and curries. Breakfast the next day was so bad I can't describe it, and there were no vegetarian choices beyond bread and jam. To make matters worse, there was a tiny cockroach in the bread basket. How could anyone eat that? Our two days here were a total nightmare. Go somewhere else.
