The hotel felt safe to me, and I'd happily stay again. The monorail station is very close, though walking around the area at night calls for some care since crime is a little higher there. Inside, the room was cosy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Chow Kit has plenty of local and international food just outside, and it gives you a real street level feel for KL. The station is about a 4-5 minute walk away, with direct connections to Bukit Bintang's shopping district and KL Sentral. The standout for me was the gym, with lots of equipment and more room than many hotels in this price range. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had useful storage and a functional bathroom. For a mid-range rate, they were better than I expected. There is no pool. Breakfast is a buffet with both Western and local choices, including eggs made to order and a noodle station. The room and bed were comfortable, and the bathroom water heater worked well. I'd ask for a room facing the main road for the best view. Parking is right beside the hotel at RM6 per entry, paid at reception, and there's a lively food court nearby with a live band at night. A small frustration came at checkout: our key card stopped working before 12:00 PM, so the front desk timing could use some adjustment. The food was fine, but the meals and menu felt pretty average.

The buffet breakfast was the highlight, and the range of food surprised us. The video says it all. Staff were friendly and attentive at check-in, checkout, and in the restaurant, despite some reviews mentioning slow or poor service. I think the way the conversation starts may make a difference. I booked through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Our room was clean, spacious, and looked renovated. It had shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, slippers, a coffee station with an electric kettle, an empty mini fridge, and two bottles of water. My spouse and I had a comfortable stay and would come back. Parking isn't free, but the gated lot costs RM14 overnight. The rail station is only a three minute walk away. All the best with your stay!
