We booked this hostel based on its photos and facilities, but the condition we found was very different. The floor was held down with masking tape, the bathroom ceiling was exposed and covered in mould, and there was mould in the dorms. A drawer under the sink, hanging by two nails, fell off and hit my toe. The shower pressure was terrible and the place felt unhygienic. We also had bedbugs during our stay. The pool was the main reason we booked, but it didn't look like the photos. It's shared by several tower blocks and was always crowded and dirty. The supposed skyline view was blocked by cloudy, filthy glass. The lift could take up to ten minutes to arrive. On the positive side, the pool is in another block of the complex. Staff were rude and unhelpful. While we were still paying guests, they moved our things out of our bed without permission instead of contacting us, even though they had my WhatsApp and phone number. When we returned, they blamed us rather than apologising. After I spoke to the manager, Khan, I was blocked on WhatsApp. Later I found my Hostelworld booking had been cancelled even though I'd stayed and paid, which stopped me from leaving a review there. The online photos are misleading, the property is in poor and unsanitary shape, and management handled things unprofessionally. I'd strongly advise travellers to avoid it and look elsewhere in Kuala Lumpur. There are much better options at the same price or less.
