I booked 7 nights for RM60 per night based on the advertised rooftop pool, which I'm still not sure exists. On arrival there was no reception, staff, or one available for check-in. After I called the number provided, I was sent to what looked like a children's care room, where the owner sat behind a small desk. Then I was told there were extra commissions and charges, taking the price to around RM150 a night, plus a RM100 deposit. They also demanded cash upfront for all 7 nights. The owner was rude, unprofessional, and uncooperative. When I raised the problem with Booking.com, he became aggressive, abused me, and used racist slurs. This feels like a scam designed to attract guests with a misleading listing and demand more money when they arrive. Booking.com should investigate and take action. I'd tell people to stay away. I'd rather sleep on the road than stay here.

The location is great, right by Quill City Mall, which connects from its second floor to the Medan Tuanku Monorel station. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are good. There's a huge pool on the 35th floor with a great view of the KL towers and skyline, and the gym one floor up looks out at the Petronas Twin Towers. Communicate with The Stay Hub before arrival and check-in should be fine.

My studio had a bed, washing machine, fridge, and a few plates and pieces of cutlery. The room size was okay, and the pool on level 35 had great views. The bathroom smelled, though, and finding the check-in office was a little tricky: it's on the first floor of building A. I booked through AirAsia deals.

The room and bathroom are tiny, and the toilet smells like sewage. The pool is crowded and the water doesn't look very clean. There's no staff or reception. The building security was rude. One guard tried to sell us a taxi when he saw us looking for a Grab, and another told me I couldn't wait inside for a taxi even though other people were doing it all the time. There was no coffee, tea, or water in the room. The gym is supposed to allow up to 7 people, but it was full all day, often with more than 7, and most of the equipment was broken. Leaving luggage after checkout costs extra. Worst hotel experience ever. AVOID.

Everything I wanted was close by, right in the heart of KL. The room had what you'd need for a visit, and the view of the towers from the 23rd floor was amazing. I'd recommend it and would stay again in Malaysia.
