The room was big and clean, and the rate was good, but I couldn't rest properly because of the noise and smells around Twin hotel. At night I could hear people shouting and laughing, along with kitchen prep noise from mamak and heavy cooking smells. It started getting noisy again around 5.30am, with the rubbish collectors, mamak, and machinery, and there was a strong mosquito spray smell too. I booked here twice, but I can't stand that environment when it keeps us from sleeping well.
The room is spacious for a budget hotel, but the wifi was completely out of service. I'd avoid a room facing the back lane, since the garbage truck and vegie wholesale market get very loud around 5am.
There are lots of food stalls around here, and the city isn't far away. It's also about 10 min from the LRT station. Clean place and good service.
There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel, and it was good value for money. My room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly. A good place to stay.
I had already booked this hotel, but the receptionist was so rude when I went to check in. Why so racist with Indian people arrrr??? I cancelled and booked city edge hotel instead. Please treat people with good service. Worst hotel.
