WP Kuala Lumpur

The rooftop pool and breakfast were both excellent, though having extra towels available at the pool would be useful. The central location was terrific, and from our room we could see across the skyline from Petronas Towers to Merdeka 118. We enjoyed watching the daily thunder and lightning storms, which may have been affecting the TV and Wi-Fi, as neither signal was great. It wasn't very quiet either, with bothersome motorbikes and road noise even on the ninth floor.

Sabby at reception was exceptionally kind, polite, and helpful with my reservation, and her warm welcome made the stay even better. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. WP Hotel KL is right in the heart of the city, close to many attractions, so the location is excellent. I really enjoyed my visit and will return next time I'm in Kuala Lumpur.

The location was the only good part. Wi-Fi was poor, the service was bad, especially from the afternoon receptionist, and the cleanliness was awful, with mold all over the shower. Breakfast was bad too, it didn't feel like breakfast at all and was more like lunch. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this hotel. A bad experience in every way.

I felt unwelcome from the start. I had noted in my reservation that I was travelling with two babies and a senior citizen, and that I needed a connecting room. When we checked in early, the front desk staff spoke to me sarcastically. They then said connecting rooms were fully booked. When I asked for a cot, they said those were only available for premium categories and above, not lower ones. I've never known a hotel to refuse a baby cot because of the reservation category. The front office staff were rude and unfriendly. Think twice before booking here, or you may feel like you're checking in at an OYO hotel.
