It's a no-frills place: the room is small, with an attached bathroom, and the bed is comfortable enough. The towel, kettle, cups, and facilities in general have seen better days. Water pressure is very low, though the hot water works well enough. The location is excellent, right by Sungai Tembeling and across from Taman Negara. There's air conditioning in the room too.

The air conditioning works really well, and I found it good value for money. The owner is kind and takes care of the animals around the place, especially the kitten. The hostel is shown in the wrong spot on Google Maps. It's between Liana hostel and Rainbow hostel. The Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time.

The staff are super friendly, and the air conditioning was nice to have and really necessary here. Breakfast was okay at 10 RM. The room and bathroom were very old, though that's about what you can expect from chalets in the Taman Negara area.

Just a heads-up: don't book through Booking or Agoda, or at least don't pay in advance. The payment won't reach the owner, who no longer has a contract with them, and you'll have to pay again in cash. I contacted Agoda customer service and got a refund. It was a bit annoying, but the owner was very friendly. I also had the whole dorm to myself.

The place was disgusting. There was no hot water, and the AC sounded like a Boeing 747 about to take off. The bed was dirty and the pillow was extremely dirty. A sheet was the only thing between me and the dirt in the mattress, and it was too short for the bed. In the middle of the night something woke me up. I still don't know what it was, but I realized I was lying against the dirt. Hens live under the room and crow by the dozen at 6:00 AM. There were also lots of cats looking for food at the door. I'd recommend sleeping in the car instead. There are better and cheaper places around.
