3H Rest House @ Homestay

The owner was very welcoming, and the place was clean. A great spot.

A nice place to stay.

The house was clean.

There’s plenty of parking, and it’s roomy, green, and well kept. Finding the place was easy with Google Maps. The surroundings have a quiet village feel, with rice fields or swampy areas nearby. The house smells floral as soon as you walk in and looks lovely. We had one queen bed and one single bed, which worked well for our family with two small children. At RM114, it suited us well and felt better than a hotel. The air conditioner and appliances worked properly, including the TV, kettle, and iron. There’s also a small stove for making something like Maggi, though the local food is so tempting you probably won’t want to. The main problem was mosquitoes. I looked around for spray or repellent but couldn’t find any. I didn’t feel like asking or heading out in the middle of the night to buy Ridsect, so we slept in the living room with a fan on to keep them from biting us. Then we could finally sleep peacefully. That was the only downside.
