This hotel isn't recommended. Even if Agoda shows you a much cheaper price, they ask for extra money at check-in, bringing the total close to the walk-in rate. They also take a RM50 deposit. If you pay that by online transfer, insist on getting it back at checkout, because they'll say it can only be transferred later. That was ridiculous to me. When I insisted on the refund, the counter staff, a chubby Malay lady, was very rude, shouting and humiliating me. The staff don't seem trained to handle customer issues. Receipts are handwritten and only given if you ask. The standard room is small, the paint is deteriorated, the pillow sheets smell, and traffic makes it noisy at night. The management is very unprofessional.

We booked online at the listed price, but the staff wanted us to pay more and wouldn't let us check in. This hotel is a scam. I suspect the staff may be putting the money in their own pockets, though I don't know for sure. I'm a hotel SV and know how bookings work. They should close for a while, learn how the hotel industry works, and then reopen.

The location is handy, close to both UTC and the Rapid bus station. You can walk to either in just 8 minutes.

It's easy to find on Google Maps, clean, and good for the price. They do prefer cash only.
