OYO 90662 The 1975 Hotel

There's barely room for one bed, and if you bring more luggage than a handbag it'll fill the room. So don't stay here if you plan to spend much time in the hotel. For sleeping, though, it works: the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and the wifi was decent. I can't complain. It's also a good location for exploring Kuantan.

The room I got through agoda wasn't shown in the photos. I'd expected a small room, but it still should have been clean enough for a budget hotel. There were small cockroaches, paint peeling off the walls and floor, and stained bedsheets. I can see why they left photos of this room off agoda. It wasn't up to my standards, and the two nights were very uncomfortable.

The 1975 team really helped me out. I arrived exhausted and without a booking, but they went out of their way to accommodate me. They were kind and understanding, and put the customer first. They apologized for the small room, but I found it welcoming and comfortable. Everything was clean and looked after as much as the hotel's age allows, and all the facilities worked. I really enjoyed my stay ^^ Thanks a lot! Just remember it's a budget hotel. If you expect luxury, be ready to pay for it.

It felt like staying somewhere familiar, and I slept so well. Sangat selesa means really comfortable, and I honestly didn't expect to rest this soundly in a budget hotel. The room was calm and soothing, with a simple, minimal look that still felt nice. It was clean, and the photos on Google and the OYO apps matched what I saw in person. A good option for a woman staying on her own. The staff could have been friendlier, though.
