The rooms were spacious, the bathroom large and very clean, the bed and pillows comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Nothing fell short during my stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a decent range of options, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. Reception staff were friendly, smiling, and helpful with requests when they could be. It’s lively and convenient for getting around, with plenty of food nearby and stores like 7-Eleven. Hotel Sentral Kuantan is right in Kuantan city centre (Riverview City Centre), within walking distance of Kuantan 188, street art murals, Kula Cakes, and the well-known Kuantan Pickers. There’s free open parking behind the hotel with spacious lots, as well as paid coupon parking around the building. This was my first stay and a very pleasant experience. Great value for money and very suitable for an overnight stay. Highly recommended!

The room has plenty of space, though the outlet is too far from the bed if you want your device charging nearby. The bathroom floor gets dangerously slippery when wet, and I nearly fell. Parking is guarded but out in the open with no shade, or you can leave the car by the roadside. Breakfast choices are limited and the taste is just average.

For a practical short stay, the location is handy for getting around Kuantan and the price felt decent. The room was functional with basic amenities, though nothing luxurious, and it felt a little dated. Cleanliness was okay, with a few spots needing attention. WiFi worked, but the connection varied by room. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and the staff were generally polite and helpful.

The front desk service was superb, especially from the male staff member wearing glasses, though I didn't catch his name. Keep it up, guys. My husband and I had a lovely stay, and the central location made it easy to get to the places we wanted. Kuantan Street Art is about a 450 m walk away; Kula Cakes is opposite, and Menara 188 is next door with a nice rooftop cafe and views of the Pahang river. I'd recommend staying here in Kuantan and would come back. Thanks!

There are lots of places to eat around the hotel, and the parking behind it is plentiful. I booked at the last minute through agoda and check-in was easy, with courteous staff. The room was clean and didn't smell, the towels were clean, and a toothbrush was provided. I didn't see any cockroaches or mosquitoes. Good value for the money. Breakfast is available for RM 22 per adult and RM 14 per child.
