The location is convenient, close to the waterfront, malls and everything else, and the staff were kind and sincere. They did fix the flush when we reported it. But the room was so bad: it looked nothing like the photos on agoda, and the dim lights made it feel like a prison cell. The toilet was awful, with both the flush and bidet broken. For five people, they provided only three towels and barely any amenities.

The concierge was very helpful. I arrived at 1am, and everything was handled quickly so I could get to bed. For the price, I’d call it acceptable, and the service was great. Still, the room and bathroom need improvement because there was a smell from the toilet. Cheap doesn’t mean we should have to accept things as they are.

The friendly auntie at reception really made the stay. There’s a free hot and cold water dispenser beside the desk, and the place was quiet at night, so it was a good spot to stay over.

There are plenty of places to eat downstairs, mostly non-halal, and it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the waterfront. It’s away from traffic noise, though the area feels a bit creepy after dark. A bank is nearby too. For the price, it’s a very affordable option. I booked through OYO for RM159 for three nights in a room with three single beds. If you’re travelling alone and get lucky, you might find a room for RM30-40 a night. The staff were patient, friendly, and helpful, but it seemed like just one person was handling each shift. They appeared to be taking care of everything, so they couldn’t manage more than one customer at a time. That wasn’t their fault. The room is decent if you only need somewhere to sleep and wash up. The bed was fine, though it had ordinary stains that couldn’t be washed out, which I personally didn’t mind. The air conditioner remote had to be replaced, but I figured out a workaround. The bathroom has what you need for a shower, though it’s small, and the door is a little damaged but usable. There are only two power sockets.

The hotel staff and reception were very good. Management should check the equipment more often, especially the air conditioners.
