The place smelled nice and was pleasant overall 👍👍. I couldn’t see any drinking water provided in the room, though, and the bathroom glass door needs fixing before it falls apart.

The room I was first given had an air conditioner that didn’t work, so I had to move into a smoking room and spend three nights with foul smells. The bed was worn out, with springs sticking out, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. Water leaked badly from the ceiling, and water poured out of the basin waste when it was in use. Nearly all the switches were faulty. There was no maintenance at all. The place felt like it was about to fall apart. If you’re thinking of staying here, think twice.

We had a nice stay from 10-12 July 2018. The room was ready, so they let us check in early. It and the bathroom were clean, and there were lots of power outlets. The location was convenient, near the Cat Statue and Padungan Street, and within walking distance of Kuching Waterfront. There’s a coin laundry beside the hotel and plenty of local hawkers nearby.

We stayed about a month ago and were delighted to be upgraded from a standard queen to a deluxe king room. It had a little balcony, a full table set, and a wardrobe. The shower was much better than the one at the hotel next door. The deluxe king is currently around 85 on Agoda, which seems like a great price for the room and the nice service from the front lady. I’d recommend Nova for a few days in kuching, since it’s by the waterfront and there’s a nearby dobby.

The air conditioner fan in the room I was given didn’t work. They said it would take 30 minutes for the air conditioner to turn on, so I insisted on changing rooms. The replacement still wasn’t cold, and both the toilet and bed were dirty. The room smelled bad.
