The breakfast had a good range of options, but I found a piece of plastic in one of the kueh. I told a waiter, who smiled and walked away without dealing with it. That was disappointing, especially for food hygiene at a five-star hotel. Parking was another drawback, at approximately RM8-10 per night. I wish the hotel would consider free parking for in-house guests. My room at Pullman Kuching was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and had complete amenities. At check-in, the front office staff greeted me warmly and handled everything smoothly. I also appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a suite, even though I didn't get the waterfront-facing room I'd requested. I had a pleasant stay overall, but better responses to problems and stronger food quality control would improve it.

The rooms were modern, spacious, and very comfortable, and the pool was brand new. I also found the gym excellent and the breakfast outstanding, on par with what I'd expect at a luxury palace hotel. As a frequent Accor traveler, Pullman Kuching exceeded all my expectations. They take such good care of guests, with attention to the little details and thoughtful gestures. That kind of care isn't easy to find these days. I highly recommend this hotel.

Michelle was warm and welcoming, attentive and smiling throughout. The food arrived on time, and the plates and cutlery were arranged just right. Kudos to the chef for the great selection, lovely presentation, and delicious food. Thanks for everything, we had a blast.

Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, but a few times things weren't quite ready. We found missing cutlery, and on two of the three mornings the soup/noodle station had no one there. The breakfast juices tasted artificial, like long-life, pre-packaged juice, so fresh fruit juice would suit the hotel better. Renovation work also left us with cold water for over 12 hours. I understand maintenance is needed, but that was tough, even in 35°C tropical heat. Still, we had a wonderful stay at Pullman Kuching and are giving it five stars. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, in excellent condition, and well organized. Our room was spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The whole staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They handled requests efficiently and with a smile, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We felt very well looked after, enjoyed our time, and would absolutely recommend the hotel without hesitation.

We stayed here in December last year, though I couldn't write a review at the time. The hotel was being renovated, but the staff still took very good care of us. Their caring, attentive approach impressed us, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. I'm especially grateful to Michelle from the executive lounge, who was cheerful, polite, and friendly. She made us feel welcome and shared lots of information about the city. We hope to return.
