We had an amazing, peaceful stay. The spacious, clean, well maintained room had a sea view from the balcony, which was the trip’s highlight. The staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely spot for couples or a honeymoon. Highly recommended for Indians.

The pool was the best part, large and well maintained, and the property is conveniently by the beach and near the airport. Housekeeping were responsive and helpful too. When a toilet blocked twice and the flush stopped working in one room, they quickly called a technician and fixed it. But booking the Sea View King Room was a very disappointing experience. We arrived at 1 pm, knowing check-in started at 2, and the receptionist asked us to wait in the lobby. Even at 2:20 pm we had no rooms. After several follow-ups, front office manager HJ Ali gave us keys for rooms in different categories. When we raised this, he showed us another guest’s hotel voucher and rudely argued that goibibo and make my trip were the same booking companies. Maybe their holding company is the same, I don’t know, but it wasn’t our voucher because it didn’t have our name. He eventually realized the mistake and gave us the correct room categories, after more delay. We had booked comfort king and sea view king rooms. The comfort room was okay, but nowhere near the advertised 4 star standard and badly in need of maintenance, just kept running. The sea view room had little or no sea view despite costing almost double the comfort room rate. Staff said that was due to the hotel design and there were no other empty sea facing rooms. If that’s the case, why take bookings for that category and mislead guests? The rooms need a major overhaul: cupboards had no doors and curtains were torn. Check-in staff should be more welcoming. I wouldn’t book the Sea View King Room again, as you might end up with little or no view and a ruined vacation.

There’s a private beach, though it isn’t properly maintained. It’s a peaceful place for a stay, away from the main market and commercial areas, and I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s not much nearby besides the beach, and it’s about a 10 minute Grab ride to the main market areas. Still, it’s a decent resort right by the beach and airport. The rooms are large, the pool is huge, and you can walk behind it to watch sunsets at the beach. Breakfast and restaurant food were decent. I’d stay here again.
