The motel’s restaurant is a hidden gem, with cheap, tasty local food downstairs. Chenang Beach is around a 15-minute walk, or just three to five minutes by Grab. The place is comfortable enough for travellers, though there isn’t much furniture and there’s no Wi-Fi. It was enough for me, just not a luxury stay.

We’re rating the Warung, not the motel. We came every day for breakfast or lunch, and the food was freshly cooked, with lots to choose from: vegetables, fish, chicken, and more. They also make little handmade cakes. Prices are cheap, and lots of locals come to eat here. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is the best time to visit. Everything was good, so we gave it five stars. (20.12.2024)

We’re rating the restaurant only. It’s a very simple, basic place, but just right: the local food is tasty, the drinks are good, and the prices are quite cheap by local standards. Their little banana cakes are fantastic.

Rooms are available at a reasonable price, and booking ahead is appreciated. The place is near Pantai Chenang. The guest rooms are upstairs, above a restaurant serving a few kinds of affordable local food, including ulam ulaman, sambal belacan, and masak lemak cili api.
