I came here after visiting the tourist area and wanted somewhere to unwind. The rooms aren't fancy like the much more expensive hotels nearby, but they have what you need for a beach break. You can swim, walk along the beach since it's not private, enjoy a cocktail next door, and catch a beautiful sunset. It's a lovely place to relax. Just arrange a scooter or car, and don't expect busy attractions or shopping close by.

The beach was clean and well looked after, and the kids could play there safely. Our room was clean too, with a comfortable bed. A lovely stay, with plenty to enjoy by the beautiful sea.

I ended up staying an extra week because I loved this place so much. It's away from the touristy area, and I could wake up to the sea and sun at the window, go for a swim or beach walk, do some yoga, and have breakfast right outside my door. My room was really clean, with daily service, and the staff were so friendly and helped with everything. Falling asleep to the ocean was lovely. This place has a special place in my heart. Thank you so much, I'll definitely come back!

I'd consider staying again, but only in a room on the beach side. The roadside rooms are just too noisy: people rev their motors at 3 am, and the walls and door barely block any sound, so earplugs are a must even in a private room. The balcony there looks straight onto the street, and the rooms are just meh. The AC was great and the bed was okay, but the bathroom airflow was poor and the shower in the toilet area gets everything soaked. The Primrose is in a fantastic spot for getting away from the tourist crowds, with what feels like its own private beach. Just know the nearest little town is a 20-minute walk, and for anything modern you'll need to go to the other side of the island.
