Disgusting. We were on a school trip and desperate, but this place was way below any standard. I’d rather sleep on the bus. It looks a bit like the Overlook Hotel, only much shabbier, as if it’s being held together with tape. There were bugs on the bed, the floor looked like it had never been vacuumed or mopped, and chunks were missing from the bathroom wall. The sink needs maintenance, and the chairs were dusty. You can do better.
I’d give it negative stars if I could. This was the worst hotel ever. The sheets were dirty and made my skin itch, and the bathroom was dirty, tiny, and had weak water pressure. The water tasted rusty. There were no basics like a hair dryer, toothbrush, or mineral water, and the toilet paper wasn’t new. The toilet ceiling was broken, with a hot hole. There was a large screw inside the door lock that stopped guests locking it from within, so girls should reconsider staying here. The door couldn’t be locked. I also saw a used condom outside the room. The corridor was dark with no lights, and there were insects, including lizards and flies. The window was very hard to lock. Staff had a bad attitude and the customer service was the worst, they refused to help. No room service or cleaning was provided.
The room was awful, and the room service was even worse. There was a broken shower, a distorted mirror, rats, and more. The receptionist was a complete a-hole. If you want to have a good time, don’t stay here. Even Patrick’s home from SpongeBob SquarePants is better.
I’d give no stars if I could. The receptionist won’t help with anything, even a simple request for a piece of paper. The room was dirty and full of insects, the water flow was slow, and outside the room there was animal waste. The toilet ceiling was broken and had a hole.
For RM95 and five beds, what should you expect? Frankly, my family slept well because the beds were comfortable. The shower uses only a wall water heater, but that was okay. The hotel is in Kuah Town, so we could go out for lunch, dinner, and shopping without trouble, and I saved on hotel costs. The morning shift staff didn’t seem friendly to me. Maintenance was poor: I spent the first day without a television. Before dinner I asked the day staff to fix the TV and front door light, but nothing was done. He said they hadn’t installed the front light. The night shift staff were friendly and helpful, and tried their best, changing the TV and installing the light right away. That was a good attitude.
