The people at The Pines were the best part. Everyone we dealt with was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Ms. Jalai made check-in easy and pointed us toward places we could walk to, while Mr. Petura at The Oak was attentive and helpful too. Getting around was convenient, with attractions nearby and the River Walk just behind the hotel through a back gate. Our room was well kept, clean, and roomy, and having both a tub and shower was a definite plus. The Oak's simple buffet had plenty of food for everyone.

The Oak's breakfast had plenty of options and tasted good. We stayed in Room 2512, checking in on 6/6/2026, and found it spacious, clean, and well maintained. There are three nice, clean pools, open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Kampung Morten is close enough to walk to, with local food nearby and a pleasant area for a stroll. A comfortable stay in Melaka, with good facilities and a handy location.

The stay was satisfactory, and the accommodation was spacious and excellent. Breakfast was fine, though having dishes rotate from day to day could add more variety. The bathroom door creaked and needs attention. Also, please do something about the TV and channels! Tqvm ♥️

We loved the pool, and the food was delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming too. The Junior Suite worked really well for our family of six, with lots of space and a comfortable, practical setup. And that teh tarik was absolutely to die for, hehehe. 😍

I keep choosing this place when I visit Melaka. The location is strategic, around a 15-20 minute walk from the main attractions, and there’s plenty of parking, so no need to worry about summoned parking slips. The rooms are spacious and clean. On my most recent stay, though, water was leaking in the toilet and from the air conditioning in the ceiling. Maintenance needs to be done regularly to prevent that. Other than those problems, all was fine.
