Once we'd parked the car, we could walk to most popular spots around Jonker Street, so the location was very convenient. We had a pleasant stay at 57 Ruma Oren Heritage Jonker Residence in Melaka, and our small furkids loved having plenty of indoor space to roam safely. The house is pet-friendly. The place was clean overall, but we spotted a few small cockroaches toward the end, which was off-putting. Hopefully more regular pest control can sort that out. The upstairs room also has wooden windows that aren't soundproof, so light sleepers may want earplugs. Amenities include a TV, karaoke setup, WiFi, fridge, water dispenser, and toaster. There are two beds upstairs, one king and one queen, with a bathroom that has the toilet and shower together. Downstairs, the bathroom separates the toilet and shower. For check-in, contact them via WhatsApp beforehand to get the lockbox code for the house key.
