We booked a room with one king bed and one single bed for 31st August 2025, just to try a one-night stay at Asiatic Hotel. Despite the mixed reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the spotless room, complete facilities, and excellent service from the staff. It seems the hotel has taken earlier feedback seriously and improved. Hope they keep this standard while keeping the price affordable 😆

The constant traffic noise, especially from motorbikes and cars, went on all night and made it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. It was frustrating, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful stay. I wouldn't recommend the hotel at all.

The road-facing room stayed incredibly noisy all night, even with every window shut. Staying here felt like torture, an absolute nightmare. Worst hotel I've stayed at.

Motorbikes racing kept making noise until 5am, so I couldn't sleep properly. I also got bitten by bugs, and the toilet had a strange smell. I really wouldn't recommend it if a good night's sleep matters to you.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by, which is a good location. Our room was reasonably clean overall, though there was a lot of dust on the cabinet drawer. The curtains were barely attached to their rails, and the built-in hairdryer was hanging from the wall by one screw, so maintenance needs attention. Despite the no-smoking policy, we could smell smoke coming through the bathroom ventilation duct early in the morning.
