OYO 90254 D Anugerah Hotel

The location is really handy, within walking distance of Dataran Pahlawan and the mall. Parking out front is possible if you get lucky, and the price is very budget-friendly. But I had a rough night sharing the room with two friends. The air conditioner quit after about 10 minutes, the lights kept flickering, and the wall fan barely cooled anything, so I was sweating all night. The pillows smelled musty, and towels only came at the last minute. There's no room mirror, which made doing makeup or fixing my hair difficult, and the charging outlets are awkwardly placed, some too high. We could even hear water running when the neighbors showered. The TV box has Netflix and Wi-Fi, though the connection sometimes cut out. The Coway water dispenser glasses were marked “Carlsberg,” which may not suit Muslim guests, so bring your own bottle. It's an okay budget stay, but cleanliness, amenities, and room upkeep need attention. 🎀
