A quiet guesthouse right by the river, with all the town’s attractions within walking distance. Good value, and there’s a very good Indian restaurant next door.

Everything in the city is walkable from this great hostel, which sits just at the edge of it all. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there are shops and restaurants nearby.

I stayed for a month and felt right at home at this guest house and in Melaka. It’s clean, good value, and the staff are helpful. Totally recommend it.

Not that great, but it’s fine and affordable for a backpacker who just needs a bed for one night. The owner isn’t very friendly.
