The sheets and towels were stained, full of hair, and smelled awful. After I complained, they moved me to another room, but that one had an even stronger damp smell. The hygiene was unacceptable. It was a disgusting, disappointing stay, and easily the worst hotel I've ever been in. I wouldn't recommend it.
6/10
The room was cozy, clean, and reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a pleasant stay, but the reception wasn't staffed around the clock and there was no security on site. As a woman travelling alone, that left me feeling uneasy.
4/10
The hotel was nice, but check-in is very late at 3 pm. We asked to arrive earlier and were surprised to be charged the price of a full day's stay for checking in just one hour early.
10/10
The lobby, owner, and room were all really nice, honestly! It’s also about a five-minute walk to jonker street, and the price was very affordable. I’d come back.
10/10
Jonker Street is only a few minutes away on foot, which is handy for tourists. My friend and I stayed three nights and felt very safe and welcome. The owner was kind and helpful, and there was always water and bananas at reception, plus offers of tea or coffee. The room was simple but clean, with nothing to complain about.
