We got a big room with a large sofa and fridge, and there was free refill water beside the lift. The smell in the room was bad, hard to describe, but we managed. The air conditioner seemed old: changing the temperature up or down didn’t work, so it felt hot at times. The floor looked rotten, like it sank when stepped on, which felt a bit scary. I arrived at midnight, but still had to wait behind two other guests to check in. Once it was my turn, I could see why the process took so long: the staff member was really slow and not very smiley, maybe she was tired, or maybe it was the old system at a 3-star hotel. The deposit was 50 ringgit, though they accepted less cash too. Tourists also pay 14 ringgit, as written on my online voucher. Check-out was surprisingly quick: I handed over the key and deposit letter, and got the deposit back without a room check. The place is conveniently near the ferry and a supermarket. That’s my review, thank you. PS: no room photo because I was too lazy and checked out early.

The assigned room had no window view and smelled really bad. The corridor air was much better. Check-in is strictly at 3 pm, with no flexibility from management. They didn’t have enough receptionists, so the queue got longer, and the staff weren’t friendly or caring toward guests. It was a bad experience.

Breakfast was supposed to run until 10:30 am, but the food was already out and wasn’t replenished. Only two or three dishes remained, so we left and ate elsewhere. In Room 610, the fridge and hair dryer didn’t work at all. The air conditioner was very small for a large room meant for three people, and even with a fan it was hot and uncomfortable. The window sill didn’t block sound; the hotel is on the main road, and a racing event at 3 am completely disturbed our sleep. I stayed one night, 11-12 Oct 2025, and hope I don’t have to stay here again. The hotel needs a serious review of its operations. Truly disappointed by this unexpected experience.

The executive room I booked had a bathtub and plenty of space, with the basics like a TV, fridge, ironing board, and sofa. Breakfast was ordinary. If you can book without breakfast, I’d do that. Still, it’s a good hotel overall.

The central location made it easy to get around. For a 3-star hotel, it was a good place to stay. The included breakfast had good choices, though there was no egg station.
