Sweet Memories Hotel

Terrible service. I walked in looking for a room, but nobody opened the door even though I rang the bell and called them many times.

The location is the only reason I’d pick this place. I’d book it only as a last resort or somewhere to spend one night. It isn’t good value, and the room feels hostel-like. The room itself is large, but there aren’t many amenities for the price. The air conditioning is very old and can’t be controlled. The sheet had a black stain, and there were ants. Power outlets are awkwardly placed, one about 2 m high near the air conditioner control and another about 0.5 m up on a wall with no dressing table, so charging devices is a hassle. The bathroom combines wet and dry areas, and the shower gel seemed diluted. The tiny basin has no ledge for toiletries. The open shelf isn’t a wardrobe, and there were no hangers until I asked at the counter. The dressing platform is only 1.0 m by 40 cm. There’s no lift, which makes the stairs difficult for guests on the third and fourth floors carrying heavy bags. It works if you just need to sleep, shower, leave your things, and go out touring.

If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give. This hotel doesn’t even deserve one.

Stay away from this hotel, you’ll regret it.
