The rude, dismissive treatment from the staff made my stay at Vienna Inn in Lucknow the worst hotel experience I've had. Even with an advance online booking, we waited 25-30 minutes at reception. Check-in felt like a hassle, and when I asked about basic amenities, the front desk acted as though I was imposing. We felt we'd made a mistake booking here. The staff were also very rude when we asked about the driver's stay. For an extra bed, they demanded payment upfront on top of what was shown online, even though we'd paid 100% online. When I pointed out the different online amount, the manager said, “Go book online then?” During the stay, requests for simple things like extra towels or room cleaning got eye rolls and condescending remarks. I also overheard staff mocking another guest behind their back. The whole place felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable. Management clearly doesn't value customers or train staff properly, and customer service doesn't seem to matter here. I wouldn't recommend Vienna Inn. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else. When I asked local friends, I heard the hotel belongs to an IAS officer and is run by his two sons. Then I understood why the staff seemed to carry the ego of an IAS officer.
