Vista Rio Melaka

The balcony view made us feel lucky to be there, and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed staying in this cozy, nicely decorated house. It has a lot of charm and was way above the standard of places I've seen in other cities in Malaysia. I've noticed some bad reviews, but I think they may all have come from the same group or family. To me, this place absolutely deserves five stars.

We had a very satisfying two-night stay. The place was comfortable and clean, and the owner was thoughtful and so kind that he even brought us some snacks from Malacca. Thanks very much. My friends said they'd stay here again. Highly recommend.

The owner made our three-day, two-night stay extra sweet by bringing us delicious kuih for breakfast every morning. He was very kind, and the house was lovely, beautifully decorated and spotless. My mom was happy as soon as she saw it. Upstairs are two rooms, a bathroom and a balcony overlooking the river, where we enjoyed late-night coffee and chats. Downstairs there's another bathroom and a very clean kitchen. The living room has a TV and an extra bed that worked well for the kids. We came for Christmas in December 2023 and had a great time. If I visit Melaka with my family again, I'd definitely book this place. It's worth every penny, and deserves more than five stars.

Victor was so helpful and always got us the information we needed right when we needed it. The house was clean, smelled great, and had lovely rooms with plenty of space. We loved being by the river, with basically everything nearby. Thanks, Victor, for a fantastic stay. Maybe it should be called Victor Rio instead of Vista Rio 😃
