We arrived late at night and had a pleasant stay at D Review Hotel Mersing. The room had several beds and plenty of space, which worked well for our family. The hotel was clean and well kept, and the price was good. A comfortable, affordable option for a short visit to Mersing.

We stopped for one night before taking the ferry to Tioman from Mersing Jetty. The hotel's close to the jetty, right beside a river, and there are restaurants nearby. Parking was easy to find. For the price, it was good value and a nice place to rest before continuing the trip. The room was simple but clean, with everything we needed. The sheets and towels were clean too, which matters a lot. The woman at reception was friendly and helpful.

For a one-night stopover, it was just about passable. The room felt worn out and below the standard I’d expect for the price, and the hotel needs an upgrade. The women working there were lovely and friendly. The man at reception, though, was rude and seemed uninterested, busy playing games on his phone. The location is the main plus: it’s an easy 15-minute walk to the ferry terminal and five minutes to the bus station. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was good, cheap, and served by friendly people.

It has the basics for an overnight stay and is close to the bus station. The room was reasonably clean, with a queen bed, desk, chairs, TV, and a window for natural light. The electricity and wifi were decent, but the air-conditioning took a while to cool the room. It’s functional, though I wouldn’t want to spend much time here.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. It’s also conveniently close to the ferry. The room was clean, but the bathroom could be improved. With thin walls and doors, noisy guests may wake you up early.
