Amigo Hotel Miri

There are plenty of food places within walking distance in the Marina bay area, and it takes less than 10 minutes to get to Miri city center. Grab is easy to get, and the room price can easily cover the transport cost. The room was clean, though the TV only had standard channels. The room key also opens the main lobby door, which makes access convenient and controlled. One of the best hotels in Miri for this price range, and it’s at the top of my list if I need to stay overnight in Miri.

There’s a wide choice of f&b outlets all around, from breakfast through supper, and getting around by Grab to town or the airport is easy. We were glad we booked here. Great location and very convenient. We’ll definitely come back if we visit Miri again.

You’ll need your room key to get back in through the locked lobby door, and check-in requires a 50RM cash deposit. The room was spacious and clean, with incredibly comfortable pillows. There’s a 7-Eleven downstairs and lots of eateries nearby. If you like malatang, Miss Gu Malatang is less than a 3 minute walk away, and its tomato soup is a must try.

I loved the pillows, and the shower was so nice it made me want to stay under it. The room was clean, comfortable, and laid out simply, so it was easy to move around. The amenities were great, and the fridge worked really well, unlike the broken ones I’ve come across even in expensive hotels. Front desk staff were always smiling and friendly, and did their best to make the stay lovely. The rates are very affordable, especially considering the facilities, comfort, cleanliness, and abundance of parking. I came back in less than a week, it was almost too good to be true 😆 Weekday parking isn’t free, but it’s still affordable. Another reason to come on the weekend, when parking is FOC 😂 I love this hotel!
