We left after just two hours and gave up the rest of our stay. The unit was filthy, with a sticky floor, rubbish under the beds, a stained pillowcase, a clogged sink, and a dirty sofa. Fruit flies were buzzing around the cups too. It was a horrible experience, and we felt so unsettled that we moved elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend it to travelers unless they inspect the unit before paying.

The pool staff member was really rude. She chased us out and scolded us for wearing the wrong attire, which was embarrassing with so many people around. She said “ini reject” and “ini tak boleh,” then asked “kalau sawan macam manaa”. Even wearing the right swimsuit doesn't stop someone having a seizure. She could have spoken to us politely. The location is beautiful, and I think the hotel's rating could be much higher if staff treated guests better.

The room was spacious, but the cleanliness was off. The towels and sheets had noticeable yellow, brown, and black stains. The pool rules were frustrating too. They only told us at the last minute that our clothing didn't meet their guidelines, and we weren't allowed into the pool.

Avoid Bay Resort, especially the unit operated by Everment. They showed only the good photos before approaching us to change units, and didn't point out the problem areas. The bathroom had water flow issues, and only one toilet could be used. The floor was broken and dangerous for a family with kids.

Check-in and checkout were both easy, and the air conditioning worked well. The homestay is within walking distance of a great spot to watch the sunset.
