The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable. The WiFi, though, is really slow. Only some rooms can load Netflix or YouTube. It’d help to have a Mesh in every room and bump up the speed.

We paid $78 per person for the Ramadan buffet as walk-ins, with half price for senior citizens. For that cost, I expected more. There weren’t as many choices as I’d thought, and the advertised “30 different dishes” seemed to count desserts and drinks too. Rice, satay, and curries ran out, so we had to wait for refills, and the kitchen took quite a while to bring more food out. When we finally got to eat, many dishes tasted quite salty. The buffet was disappointing overall.

The setting is peaceful, near the golf area, though a bit far from the city. Rooms are on the small side compared with other Miri hotels. Service was good and security was top notch, with guests only allowed to move around their assigned floor. The toilet has a bidet. They don’t provide bottled water, but there’s a jug and dispenser in the corridor. Breakfast had just two mains, nasi goreng and mee goreng, which was less than I expected. The restaurant is in another building, with a buggy available to take you there.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only thing is the location, which I think is too far from Miri town.
