There was a bad smell on the stairs, and I was charged extra when I checked in. The water stopped in the middle of my shower. When I asked the receptionist, an Indian woman who was very loud and rude, she just said the pipe was being repaired. It was a terrible experience.

I booked through Agoda and arrived at 2 PM, which I understood to be the standard check-in time. A staff member stopped us on the stairs without even saying hello and just told us, “Aircond in service,” then blocked the way. When we asked when the room might be ready, she rudely cut us off and repeated that we couldn’t enter. She gave no explanation, apology, alternative, or place to wait. The stairs were dark and gloomy, full of junk, with no lights or clear signs. The entrance also had an overwhelming smell of strong incense, which I found unpleasant in a hotel, though I respect other cultures. I saw no sign of aircond servicing, no trucks or technicians nearby, so the whole thing felt like a scam. I regret not checking the Google reviews first. Trusting the Agoda reviews was my biggest mistake. By the time staff asked for my booking name, I was too disappointed and disgusted to continue, so I walked away. I wouldn’t deal with that rude, careless service or give this place my time or money.

The room wasn’t very comfortable to stay in, and the restroom wasn’t clean enough. The rooms could use some renovation.

The receptionist was incredibly rude and tried to get me to pay another 90 ringgit even though I’d already paid through the website. Avoid this place.
