The views were amazing, and snorkeling was so much fun. I spent my 25th birthday here, which made the whole stay feel magical. The staff were kind and really helpful, and the ladies cooked delicious food. There are sandflies on the beach, though with everything else going on, you barely notice them.

There was plenty of good food, and lots of spots to relax. The staff were so kind and helpful, and they made my daughter's birthday feel special. They remembered the cake I’d asked for, turned off the lights, and played a Happy Birthday song. The cake was delicious, too. They really went above and beyond, and we had a wonderful excursion.

On both boat journeys, the captain spent nearly the entire time looking at his phone, only glancing up now and then to steer. With 16 paying passengers on board, that felt incredibly unsafe. This was a day trip.

The staff were good and the food was good, but that couldn’t make up for what happened. There were so many sandflies that we were badly bitten and needed steroid cream and antihistamines. We also felt unsafe trying to sleep in the tent because the place had a rat problem. After reading reviews about rats around the compound, we kept food carefully packed away. Even so, rats chewed through our bags to reach a few unopened snack and coffee packets stored deep in our luggage. We saw a dead rat on the ground and told staff straight away, but it was still there two days later. Management needs to deal with the rats, since this is a safety issue. I’d warn people away unless it’s resolved.

The day trip was a calming break from the city, since the location was so quiet. It took about a 20-minute boat ride from the jetty at Beringgis to the island. The package came with snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Great staff, and an 8/10 experience.
