Crystal Crown Hotel, PJ

Housekeeping kept the room in perfect order throughout my stay. It was spotless and spacious, with all the amenities I needed, and the bed was extremely cozy. I also appreciated the care put into setting up the room. From arrival, the staff did their best to make me feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the team was friendly and professional. I had an amazing stay.

One of the women at the front desk eventually sorted things out quickly, which eased my frustration a little. I hope the rest of my two days here goes better, but the first couple of hours really spoiled the mood. I knew this was an older property, but my stay was disappointing from the start. I’d asked Mr. S***l? at the front desk for a high-floor room with a nice view, yet got a low-level room facing a construction site. The replacement room after I requested a change was hardly better, and nobody properly explained why my request had been ignored. Then they gave me the wrong WiFi password and still made me wait after providing incorrect information. That wasted even more of my time.

The receptionists need more training in how to speak and behave politely with customers. They don’t seem to know or care about basic things like extending time or parking. Ask them anything and they just say NO without even looking at you.

This is an annual stay, and I’ve been at Crystal Crown before, but each year it gets worse. In 2024, the air cond in our room wasn’t working properly, so we were sweating throughout the stay. A helpful technician came to see what could be done, but none of the attempts worked. We had to endure a sweaty Christmas night at Crystal Crown.
