This was my seventh stay, and I’m already looking forward to number eight. Ratul is a big reason I keep returning. Across all seven visits, he’s been consistently welcoming, handled requests quickly and made us feel looked after. The hotel is clean, well run and relaxing, and Ratul’s friendly, professional service adds a personal touch. Staff like him make guests want to come back. Highly recommend it for a comfortable stay and good service.

The front desk interaction upset me even more than the air conditioning problem. The staff member was impatient and dismissive, and spoke to me in a way that left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I don’t know his name, but his attitude was poor and unprofessional throughout. As a mother travelling alone with two children and dealing with a room issue late at night, I expected help and empathy. I checked in at Paxtonz Hotel in the afternoon, and the air conditioner wasn’t working properly from the start. I complained several times, but it wasn’t fixed until around 1:00 AM. They gave us a fan that smelled like it was burning, which worried me. Maintenance came to inspect the unit several times without offering a proper fix, then began cleaning it in my room around 1:00 AM, disturbing my children and me when we should have been sleeping. The information from the front desk was confusing too. First I was told the hotel was full and a room change wasn’t possible, then later they suddenly said another room could be arranged. After hours in a hot room, I asked for compensation or a reasonable solution and was offered only a one-hour late checkout. I found the service lacking in empathy. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both maintenance response and customer service.

The room was comfortable, had the basics and fast Wi-Fi, but we were bitten by bugs during our ten-day stay. We asked for cleaning twice, and neither time was the room done by the end of the afternoon. The location is good, though parking and driving to the lobby can be confusing because of all the turns. Even as locals, we had trouble finding the right way. Keep in mind parking costs RM6 a day, plus RM2 per entry or exit.

I often stay here in Kuala Lumpur for work or holidays, especially when I’m on a longer trip. It’s comfortable, has good facilities and is easy to get to, which makes it a good place to stay.
