Benutten 99 Hotel

I stayed here for one night in April 2024 and loved the stay overall. The one small issue was the doors: if you don't hold your room door, it shuts with a bang. We could hear other doors slamming on our floor too, and it was especially annoying at night. Maintenance should check them and make sure they close more quietly.

There's a convenience store next door, and "Target" supermarket is about a five-minute walk away. The location is handy, though the rooms are upstairs and reception is downstairs, with no elevator, so you have to use the stairs. Towels, shower gel, and shampoo were provided. If your room has windows, bring earplugs: passing cars and motorbikes can get noisy.

We had to attend to something urgent and booked at 4pm on the same day. There weren't many hotels available around Benut, but this one is in a great spot in pekan Benut. The receptionist was cheerful and nice. We chose a room without a window, which was fine, but the bathroom wall only came up about three-quarters of the way. That felt strange and uncomfortable. The room itself was okay, and both the TV and air conditioning worked. There was even a hairdryer.

It's a new hotel, but the open-topped toilet made the room feel like sleeping in a big bathroom. Ventilation was poor, and it smelled awful day and night. You could clearly hear people urinating and using the toilet. We had no choice, but this was a nightmare. Sorry, this was my first and last stay here.
