The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a sunset view, and it’s easy to find food or sit at nearby cafes. The main drawback is the building itself: the entrance and exterior look neglected and run down, and the rooms feel basic rather than hotel standard, though they have the essentials. It works if being close to things matters most. For a more attractive stay, you may prefer a resort or proper hotel, even if that means paying more or taking a Grab. If you want this location, check the residence listings on Agoda or Airbnb too, as some may have nicer rooms.

The lifts were the main frustration in this shared hotel and residence building. Waiting took a long time, only one lift in the north building was working, and the other could only be reached from the ground level. The hotel is right by the waterfront, with shops next door, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My Superior Room was spacious, more like a Soho unit, with two beds split between the hall and bedroom. The food was adequate for the setting. If you stay here, I hope you enjoy your time in Port Dickson and have a healthy stay.

The location was convenient, but the layout made moving between blocks awkward: check-in and check-out are in different lobbies, and you have to cross the car park with your luggage. The room floor felt dirty, so housekeeping needs work. At least the air conditioning was cold and worked well. The building also felt old and neglected. Only one of the three lifts was running during my visit, leading to long waits, and sharing it with maintenance workers felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. With the poor upkeep, cleanliness and confusing setup, the stay was frustrating and not worth the price. I wouldn’t return unless there are major improvements.

The room was acceptable, but service needs work. I had to ask reception several times to arrange housekeeping, and when I came back, our room had been left unlocked because the cleaner forgot to lock it. They apologized, but that was completely unacceptable. There were no plates or spoons either, so bring your own.

There’s plenty of parking and lots of food and tourist spots nearby, so the location in PD is good if you’re driving. I stayed one night in early May 2026 and found the place okay overall, though the lifts were very slow and the property needs more maintenance. The lobby felt a bit stuffy and the corridors were somewhat dirty, perhaps because of a bird infestation. The car park could use some touching up too. I may stay again.
