Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson

The hotel is away from the busy city, so it was a calm, relaxing place to stay. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and the service was good from check-in through to the F&B team. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Fazmirul, the bellman, for being so kind and providing excellent service. I’d recommend staying here and hope to return.

The view and peaceful surroundings were lovely, and the staff who helped us made a real difference. Samuel warmly greeted us and helped when we were told luggage couldn’t go into the breakfast restaurant and had to be left with the concierge. Daniel made our first buggy rides pleasant. Bidi also noticed we’d forgotten to switch on the make-up-room sign, then kindly asked if he could call housekeeping to clean our room. I appreciated all three of them. There were frustrating moments too. At arrival, the bellmen saw us struggling with our bags but didn’t acknowledge us, and seemed to help only guests with MPVs. It felt like favoritism. After the fire show on our last night, a buggy passed us three times, apparently because there were only three of us and they wanted other guests to queue behind us. Iqbal? eventually stopped nearby and asked for our room number. I also struggled to lift a bag onto the buggy while S.Thinesh watched. I had to look at him twice before he offered to put it at the front seat. It felt like helping wasn’t part of his job. The night shift buggy staff seemed to enjoy their work, though, and it was nice to see. We stayed three days and two nights, including breakfast. The view and atmosphere were peaceful, but my first impression of the hotel wasn’t good. We enjoyed the stay, though the concierge and buggy teams need to improve.

The room was fresh, clean, and felt new, with a stunning, calming view of the ocean. It was a lovely place to clear your head and get away from city life. We were there during Ramadan and Lunar New Year, and it wasn’t too crowded. The drive was smooth and the stay went well. We even thought about adding another night if work had allowed. We chose the 5-star Lexis Hibiscus for a Lunar New Year break that was planned around golf at PDGCC and Dickson Bay Golf Club, hoping to avoid disappointment. It felt worth the money. Food options were a little limited, but the rest of the experience made up for it. I imagine it gets beautiful and lively during a major holiday, and may be fully booked. Seems like a nice place for couples or families.

I came from Johor Bahru and was blown away by the food, surroundings, and service. Mr Ram gave us such a warm welcome and really made our day. Highly recommend giving it a try.
