Suhaila Palace

Suhalia made us feel at home, greeting us with big smiles and banana bread. Our upstairs room was peaceful and quiet, very clean, and had everything we needed. The fan and AC worked brilliantly together, and the balcony had a great view. Breakfast was tasty and brought back memories. We always went for peanut butter toast and a fruit platter. The beach was our favorite of all the ones we visited, with lovely swimming beaches on both sides of Suhalia and beautiful coral nearby. We also enjoyed the BBQ on the beach at Cosy and having good food options close by. The price was very reasonable for what we got. We booked two snorkeling trips through her, and they were life changing. The short trip to the small islands at the top was the best, with amazing coral and fish.

The terrace on the first floor was a lovely spot to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There was also a good restaurant, affordable laundry, and a small grocery store with everything we needed. Beaches that felt like paradise were just a few steps away on either side, with excellent restaurants nearby. Everything else was just as good, from the warm welcome and kind, professional staff to a room that was extremely clean and comfortable. For me, it's clearly the best place to stay on the Perhentian Islands. I recommend it 1000%!

The host was lovely, helpful, and always smiling, though she didn't send us our photo 🥲. We found a shop with EVERYTHING we needed, plus good restaurants nearby. The room had all the essentials, even a hair dryer, though it wasn't luxurious. It's cosy and calm, and you can book taxi boats or full snorkeling tours for cheap. The beaches and snorkeling are beautiful. Much better than other hotels on Long Beach.

The location feels like paradise, and I'd highly recommend staying here. The sea view is lovely, with plenty of ways to go snorkeling. Suhaila welcomes you warmly, and there's a small kitchen on site for breakfast or other meals. The rooms are clean too.
