The cabin balcony gives you a breathtaking look at Mt Kinabalu, even though clouds and rain kept hiding the peak during our stay. The sunrise and sunset views are split across the two sides, with Mr Kinabalu right between them, though you only catch a little of each from either side. The wind was so strong that quite a few of us couldn't sleep. Inside, there's a water heater, hair dryer, and even movies on the TV. Getting up to the place takes care. The hill is extremely steep, and drivers unfamiliar with that kind of slope may find it intimidating. We had to shift down to second gear and climb slowly; Carpark D is highest, after A, B, and C. Staff offered to drive us up if needed.
