OYO 90329 Bridge House Homestay

When we arrived, the officer there said OYO was a scam and that the business used the name ‘bridge house’. They said three people had been affected in one day. I don't know who to believe, so we decided to find somewhere else at the last minute. Before paying a deposit, make sure you confirm everything first.

My family and I booked through BOOKING.COM, but when we arrived they had joined our room with other people. They said they remembered we weren't coming, without having told us anything. We had travelled from far away, and the hotel cancelled our booking like that. We felt completely ruined. We left on 16/10/2021. The hotel was new on BOOKING.COM when we registered, and the service was bad. Other families had the same problem too. Then, even more disrespectfully, they reported on BOOKING.COM that we weren't coming. We have proof our name was on the hotel list at reception. What else is there to say? It's not easy to go up the mountains again. Find another hotel or homestay. This was the first time this had happened to us, with a booking cancelled without notice. BOOKING.COM said check-in was until 8.00PM. We arrived from SANDAKAN at 5.00PM, so they had another three hours to give our room to other people without our knowledge. If they had told us earlier, we could have found another place. People aren't unreasonable. I understand business is difficult, but don't abuse people. Bad service makes it difficult for a local business to progress. The journey from SANDAKAN to KUNDASANG is no more than four hours. It was raining then, and the car was a problem again. Haish, I'm disappointed.

This Bridge House homestay doesn't exist, and many people have been affected. It's a scam, so don't book this place.
