Grandview Hotel

The room was spacious, though the hotel itself is quite old. The key card sensor was unreliable and stopped working after a while 😂. At night, the Malay front desk worker was very polite and helpful 👍👍.

There were ten of us, booked into two twin rooms and two triple rooms. Everything we needed was there, and the rooms were clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Parking is in the public city council spaces outside the hotel, but they provided the parking ticket for free. There's a hot and cold water dispenser in the lobby. The coffee house next door was temporarily closed, though shops and places to eat are under a ten-minute walk away. I'd stay here again on another visit to Raub.

Nothing fancy, but it's an okay hotel. The staff are friendly and the shower works fine. The bed was clean, though a bit old, and the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke.

The internet was a little hard to access, and I had to go down to reception to get connected. Still, the hotel was good value for money. My room was fairly large and very clean, with quality pillows and mattress, and the towels and bedding were clean too. The staff were polite and obliging. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a saloon, banks, and a supermarket. I highly recommend this 3 star hotel in Raub. Keep up the good image. T
