Ozzy Lodge Semporna

Our family of 10, eight adults and two kids, had a wonderful first leisure trip to Semporna, Tawau Sabah from 25 to 30 Oct 2024. Ozzy Lodge was a good choice for us. We had four rooms on the second floor of the two-story lodge, each clean and cozy with its own toilet. Mr Rahim and Ms Rosita were warm, accommodating and helpful, and the staff worked hard to keep the place clean. The whole family enjoyed the food, shopping and stay. There are supermarkets, laundry, coffee shops and plenty of parking nearby, and the lodge has eight rooms that can fit about 16 people. Mr Rahim arranged a five-day, four-night package that included island hopping, snorkeling and swimming, plus one night on Mabul Island. The water there was clear, with lovely scenery, starfish and corals. At Seahorse Sipadan Scuba Water Chalet we had a clean, simple chalet and got to see an amazing sunset and sunrise. Back in Semporna, we visited the ‘pekan’ side for dry goods and souvenirs, as well as Tawau Hill and Cocoa village. Mr Rahim's itineraries suited us well, and the lodge helped prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. We especially enjoyed Ms Rosita's delicious home cooking. Their generosity and service went the extra mile. Everyone was friendly and hardworking, and we would certainly recommend Ozzy Lodge to relatives and friends. Thank you, Mr Rahim and Ms Rosita. The bed was so comfortable, with a luxury hotel feel, and the free breakfast came with a generous range of choices. The team at Ozzy Lodge also went out of their way to put together the perfect honeymoon trip for me. I was really pleased with the service and the quality. I'll definitely come back!

We spent 7D6N here and the staff cleaned our room and changed the bed linen halfway through. They were friendly and nice, and the service was great. The buffet breakfast had an excellent spread, and we got fresh towels, toiletries and free wifi. There's plenty within walking distance, including convenience stores, supermarkets, burger places, a satay spot and even a vet clinic. Best budget accommodation in Semporna. Highly recommend!

There's a simple breakfast with several options, and the staff prepare it in the pantry outside the rooms. You can also make it yourself, with a toaster, microwave and Coway available for free refills anytime. The lodge is laid out like a big room with smaller rooms inside. Its location is very convenient, with restaurants and a supermarket beside it. The room was nice, the comforter especially comfy, and the bathroom heater worked well. There weren't many hooks, and our room didn't have a hanger. Towels were provided, but toothpaste and a toothbrush weren't in ours. Maybe you can ask, since my sister's room had a tiny toothpaste. Best to bring your own.
