Room 210 was spacious and clean, with daylight coming in and a view of the shoplots plus a small glimpse of the mosque. The bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable and clean too. I had a good stay and would come back if work brings me here again. The bathroom was clean enough, though it could use a proper deep clean. Breakfast suited me despite the negative reviews, even if there wasn't much choice. One bowl had a dead mosquito in it, so cleanliness there could improve. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle, though I think it only starts at 8.30AM. I walked to the airport in about five minutes and got there safely, but there's no proper walkway. You have to cross the road, go through a big longkang, and cross a small field. There were enough people around that I didn't feel too nervous walking alone as a woman.

I picked it for one night because it's very close to Senai airport and there are lots of shops nearby. The gaming room is amazing, though only one of the two PCs worked well. Service was okay. The girl at the front desk seemed a bit sarcastic to me, but it was fine.

The one real plus is how close Sem9 is to the airport, which works for people passing through. The stay itself was disappointing: the room felt run-down, cleanliness was seriously lacking, and the bathroom was unhygienic.

The staff were very helpful when we asked to move rooms. The first room was stuffy, the AC in the second didn't work, and the third had no hot water in the shower. The fourth room was finally fine. The location near the airport is good, but the bed sheet wasn't very clean. There was some black debris in the buffet coffee and we couldn't tell what it was, and the bread toaster kept jamming halfway.
