KLIA Town Stay

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the place has a lovely design. It’s a new homestay run by a super friendly owner family. Our room didn’t have air conditioning, but we had two fans, and the owner kept asking us to put fresh ice water in the fan. She answered all our questions and offered daily cleaning. You can tell she tries to make the stay as good as possible. Thanks for everything.

The room stayed hot and stuffy, even with the air conditioning and fan. We’d booked an airport shuttle, but no one picked us up, and the contact number they gave us went unanswered. It was also hard to find because there’s no sign. This is a small family-run business, more of a homestay than a hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous, though.

A nice, relaxing place.

I came to hike in the national park behind the site, but when I got there, I saw that the entrance was a zoo. I walked around with my friends, though I’m not really a zoo person, especially with animals in feeding cages, so I didn’t take any photos. There’s a free visit, and you can eat and shop there. For seeing Thailand’s wildlife, there are tigers, bears, genets, otters, lots of kinds of monkeys, lemurs, and most kinds of calais, which are like toucans. You may also see local deer and antelopes, wild boar, and other animals. It could be interesting for kids or anyone wanting to learn about Thailand’s species, but it’s a shame they’re kept behind bars like prisoners.
