Victory Inn

There are shops and places to eat just a short walk away, and I felt safe throughout the night with no disturbances. Hotel Victory Inn in Sepang was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and I had a fantastic stay. The receptionist welcomed me warmly when I arrived and made check-in easy. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to make sure guests were comfortable. My room was a relaxing place to come back to after a long day of travel, and the cleanliness across the hotel made the stay even nicer. For anyone visiting Sepang on a budget, I highly recommend it. The service, comfortable rooms, and safe, clean setting made it a great choice.

I stayed six nights. The price was a real plus, since clean budget hotels under $10 USD per night are hard to find. It's also about a 15 minute drive to the airport, and a major mall across Highway 10 is a 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of other nearby shops and services, including laundromats, car service centers, mini-marts, and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, the shower had good pressure and temperature control, and the wifi generally worked okay. The rooms are very small, and many have no windows, which might suit someone who likes a cave-like room but wasn't great for me. The staff didn't seem to want me there. There was no daily room cleaning or daily bottled water, and I got virtually no smiles in 7 days. The toilet had a minor plumbing problem that made it run constantly, though there was a valve high on one wall to shut off the bathroom water supply, as shown in the picture. There are few electrical outlets and amenities, with no mini-fridge or coffee maker. The AC unit in my room needed maintenance and cleaning, and mold was visible at the discharge, as shown in the pictures.

I stayed for two nights and found the hospitality very pleasing. The rates were reasonable, and getting to the airport was easy, about a 10-15 minute ride. There are lots of restaurants nearby, along with a 7-Eleven and laundry services. It made for a pleasant, satisfying short stay.

The towels had stains, which put me off. They also strictly enforced the two persons per room rule, even though my siblings and I were only stopping overnight, so I had to pay for an extra room we didn't need. That seemed unreasonable for a budget hotel. The receptionist, a woman, was a total mood killer. Right from check-in, she seemed indifferent to guests and lacked basic hospitality skills. Her dismissive, discourteous manner made every interaction uncomfortable and spoiled the experience. I suggest the owner address her attitude or replace her with someone better. I hope management deals with these issues promptly.
